We had a wonderful family outing on Saturday it was my day off and Kuhio didn't have work tell four so we decided to take the kids on a family activity even more so since I am working and our schedules are different. We had a great time and great weather.

I can't believe that Kamea is already 3 years old I remember her first born Feb 20 2008 at 2:15pm at the Orem Community Hospital :) She had so much Black hair and gorgeous blue eyes :) I remember that day changed my life in so many wonderful ways ! Her 3rd Birthday fell on a Sunday so I decided to take her to church to start her day than we came home made breakfast together opened her gifts and I had her paint a cake for her self :) Daddy came home and we went to McDonald's for dinner came home and had her blow out cupcakes :) Than the following Sat we had a party at Chuck E Cheese. She had Dora balloons and a Dora cake had some of her friends come, Kalani family and mine from Utah drove up for the weekend to be here. It was a great, fun celebration and fun to spend time with family as well :)

This Halloween was our first in Vegas. It's a little different. We ended up going to Town Square outside Mall area. We were in traffic for over an hour we got there and no one had candy and it was sooo packed with people. It was not fun and not recommended. We are not doing that next year for sure. We ended up leaving and did some door to door trick or treating in Kalani's area than went to dinner with him and the kids at Hawaiian BBQ :)

We went on a family activity today to Bonnie Springs. It is abut 19 miles from us and in the mountains toward Red Rock Canyon. They have lots of activities but on Mon and Tues the petting zoo, restaurant, and horse rides are open. The rest of the days they have a little town where they have shops and cowboy shows with shooting, acting, and actually a hanging. At night they have a Halloween event for the kids with a train ride than later in the evening they have a haunted area for adults. It's a real nice place and lots of fun activities :) We plan to go back this weekend to do a all day event with eating, watching the shows and looking at the shops and than attending the kids Halloween event and riding the train :)

For Kuhio bday we ended up the Friday before his birthday to go to dinner with Violet Northington's Ohana since it was the weekend and Kuhio Bday followed on the coming up Wed. They took us to the " Elephant Grill " It was so good. When you walk in there is Elephants in the wall coming out statue's of Giraffes etc. And there was more food to decide from Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Fish, Shrimp plates, Meats, Salads, Sushi, Hamburgers etc and the food was delicious. Than on Wed since it was Kuhio last day of we decided to relax and have a Family day. I had Kuhio run some small errands so me and Kamea could decorate the house with Balloons, make a cake, put up the Decorations so when he came home he was surprised. We ended up hanging out for alittle while than we had Curry for dinner than after headed to Tropical Smoothie to get to take to the park. We let Kamea play than we kicked Soccer ball with her , drank our smoothies came home sang " Happy Birthday " and then enjoyed some cake :)

Kamaha'o is now 3 months and I can not believe how fast the time has gone. It makes me sad to see him getting bigger and bigger.

I bet he weighs at least 20 or so pounds.

He is always cooing, laughing, trying to carry on a conversation. There has been times where he is cooing, talking ,Laughing for 30 min or little longer, as long as your talking and cooing next to him he enjoys the conversation :)

He can roll over onto his stomach , but can't just get back onto his back.

He can hold his head up for about 2 min or so without dropping it just looks around and trys to move his legs up.

He loves his Nighttime Musical " All Animals " with the different sounds, Nature, Classical, Lullaby, and then has the animals moving around. Has a Dolphin, Polar Bear, Lions. His favorite music choice is Lullaby and sometimes we switch to Nature :).

We had such a great family activity today !! The weather was perfect and it was nice to get out. So we ended up going to The Mirage cause they have a Tiger and Dolphin habitat called the " Secret Garden " It was soo nice and the animals looked so well taken care of and happy !!! It had Tigers, Lions, Lamas, Swans, Black Panther, Leopard, Baby cubs . It was alot of fun !! Than after we ate at a Buffet called " The Craving " It was ok..:) They had chilled crab and lots more :)

Kamea is getting so big and more and more gorgeous everyday !! She still has a hard time knowing she is not the only one anymore lol but she is getting better :) She loves to help me with the baby change his pamper, bath him, feed him, and she loves holding him. She enjoys helping me cook and unload the dishwasher and fold clothes :) She is very silly too like her father :) We were watching the Discovery Channel and it was showing a anaconda biting some guys arm, Mea yells out " Hoo mommy that's nuts yay, that's crazy ! " All I could do was look at Kuhio and laugh it was so cute... yes I believe kids say the darnest things lol. Kamea and Kuhio play around all the time teasing each other wrestling she always say " Daddy I am tough ! " Lol and than when Kuhio has her pinned she says " Boy let me out . " lol I love her I feel so blessed to have such a smart, gorgeous, loving, funny, daughter :)

Oh man how fast it has gone these past two months ... It makes me sad to know that Kamaha'o is getting bigger and bigger !! I think I am just about in my normal routine between cleaning, dinner, managing time for Kamea, Kuhio, and Kamaha'o grocery shopping and etc !! Today Kamaha'o had his check up and immunizations :( He had one oral and two in his left leg and one in his right :( He cried well screamed but than I cried to felt so bad for him.

Sleeping for 6 hours or more at night. Yes to that lol
Can hold his head up on his own really well.

Octopus.

We have been wanting to be outside and getting some fresh air, but the weather has been so hot. It's been 107 or higher and you can't do much the parks are hot, it's so out to even bring the little ones to the pool. So we ended up going to the Sharks Reef and look at the animals and fishes :) Mea loves it there and always looks for the one Honu that swims with the sharks. Kamaha'o seemed to enjoy it as well since daddy carried him and he just was looking around and making little noises. It was good family fun!!

On my Birthday we went to the Bellagio hotel to look at the Botanical Garden with the kids , the hotel was GORGEOUS !!! You guys have to see it if you haven't when you come down !! I heard their Buffet is really good too :) ..But we went to ISLAND SUSHI for my Birthday dinner it was soo good I LOVE THAT PLACE !!! Kalani Joined us !

Kamaha'o is growing so fast ! We can't believe it and so is Kamea. We have had such a wonderful first month with our new addition. It was a change getting used too but I think we have it down for the most part. Kuhio also had a shift change too this month working from 7 am to 4 pm to now 4am to 1 pm. I enjoy the morning shift cause he is home during the day to help out and give Mea time as well. But then he is tired and I try to not wake him at night since he needs to get up. I think he is adjusting to it easier as well. Kamea is doing wonderful, she gets her moments when she cause trouble for attention when she feels we are leaving her out but she is getting better, I have been giving her one on one time when the baby goes down for a little nap and than Kuhio will take her swim or park to spend time and get her energy out lol. She helps me change Kama diaper and throws it away for the most part. She recently has wanted to hold the bottle and help get him dressed. She always wants to talk to him and play with him when he is up ! She is a great good sister. I am doing good, I am getting used to getting up in the middle of the night again , managing cleaning, laundry and dinner lol.

Kamaha'o Developments.

He has gained 3 pounds this months and grown 2 inches.
He turns his head to our voices and focuses on our face when we talk to him.
He can lift his whole head up for a few seconds when he is on his tummy.
He has a very good grasp when he grabs onto things.
He sleeps for a good 4 1/2 hours some of the time that's the record time so far.
He smiles plenty, happy boy.
If there is a record for how much a baby can eat he would win :)

Those are some of the things I can think of right now that he his doing. He really is a great baby most of the time smiling as long as he has a full tummy, pamper changed and burped. But I think he has already developed that he would rather be held then put down lol :)

Yes a new member to the Clark Ohana Kamaha'o ( Wonderful, Astonishing ) John ( After my grandfather ) Keali'i ( Dad Clark wanted this in his name , meaning high chief ) Clark

He was 7lbs 5oz and 20 inches long.

It was an eventful day I was induced at 10:30 am on June 24 and from that point it went very quickly. I was so nervous that it was going to last forever that he wouldn't come but I didn't prepare myself for it being too fast. I came in Dilated at a 3 and went from my water breaking to a 10 in no time. I did get an epidural but than it had no effect on me at all. I lasted quite long with out it but it was the most horrible contractions I have ever felt in my life. But my body didn't seem to think the epidural was necessary. So I went from a 5 to a 10 dilated in about 40 min I was vomiting, crying to Kuhio saying I couldn't do it and feeling him come down the birth canal. I just toughed it up and just knew he was coming . I had an AMAZING nurse Janet, she was helping me breath right, feeding me ice chips, telling me I can do it I am strong all that stuff. I pushed and tried and finally after being in labor for 10 min he was out ( I know now why some can refer it to the ring of fire :( )

I reached down and grabbed him and cried ! He was perfect. He is such a great baby. I am trying my hardest to breast feed him and give him the best !!!! It is a work in progress lol. Mea loves him to death she kisses him and wants to hold him all the time. I am so proud she is loving and wanting to be a great big sister. Our little family of four. We were so happy that my Aunt and her two daughters could come visit shortly and so happy Mom and Dad clark are here with us now for a bit and Kalia and Kiam are actually with us tonight as well !!! So excited for the rest of the families to come down these next few days and weeks we love and miss you all !!!!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the Wonderful Daddy's out there. Today Kuhio had to work booo :( But when he came home Mea was waiting with a hug and her little gifts. I helped her make daddy a coupon book for him and also Worlds Greatest Number One Dad Award Ribbon that he can wear but he is going to put it up at work :) When he came home Kamea said " Here you go dad this for you from Mena :) " the way she says her name lol :) Gave him a hug and was so proud. Than Me and Mea decided daddy LOVES SUSHI so we took him to all you can eat Pupus and Sushi for dinner yum yum and I don't mind it either lol. I got him an Xbox with 2 games he enjoys, it was for a great deal at Target ;) And I am all for great deals !!! He deserves it though he has wanted a game console for awhile and he ALWAYS TREATS Kamea and I to nice things and spoils us and all his children when he can and IS ALWAYS thinking of us before his wants and likes. So today was his day and he deserves it very much. He was so excited and started playing ASAP LOL !!! I love you Kuhio thank you for being the best dad to ALL your kids and loving unconditionally and being the man you are !!!!!

Today we went to Toy Story 3 !! Kamea was so excited the whole time we were watching the previews she kept saying " Want to watch Woody, Buzz, Jesse ." She was so excited, soon as it came on she told Kuhio and I " SSHHH Quiet Woody Buzz ! " Lol she sat through the whole movie didn't move and sat next to daddy and I :) She had a raspberry ice and some gummy bears, she was more than happy. I know she doesn't look the happiest in the picture she was actually crying cause this was after it was pau and she was crying cause she wanted to stay and watch :) Can't wait to buy it on Dvd !!!!!

" Look at me mommy ! " Was all she kept saying cause she was jumping all over.

Mea was invited to her first friends party today :) I was excited and so was she. We always go to family's parties but this was her very first friend invited :) It was so much fun.The theme was Super Hero's . There was Super Hero balloons, cake, decorations and a Spiderman jumper. There was a craft section of make your own Superhero mask and even the adults got to make one :). They had a water balloon fight since it was 104 degrees :( !!! The menu was ono too.Bbq Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Chicken. Than had veggies, Rainbow jello, fruits, Spinach Rolls, Lumpia , Bacon wrapped in mushrooms, chips and dip and than beverages . Than after ate the kids played for awhile and we sang " Happy Birthday " to Cole and ate cake / cupcakes and ice cream. Than more fun came when it was time to hit the Pinata :) Than more eating, kids playing, Hawaiian music in the back ground and opening gifts. Kamea loved it and had so much fun. Also to my surprise lol If you know Kamea she is shy and clingy at first and doesn't really like when others she has not met or seen for awhile give her attention. WELL....there was Hawaiian music playing and Mea went up in front of everyone and started Hula dancing... she did her hand motions, her hips, leg work and all !!!! She did it for 3 MIN AND 3 SEC THE WHOLE SONG !!!!!! And everyone watched her and after gave her hugs and clapped and she was complimented by everyone and asked me if she was taking Hula cause she was good at it... Violet and her Mom and all the Aunties were so impressed and thought it was the cutest thing. The comment that was made was " It's in her Clark blood, and she has grace like ALL HER AUNTIES !" I was very proud of Kamea and soo happy that she was open and was not shy to do that.

How your baby's growing:

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

My take on it :

Yay. Almost there. I had my doctor visit last Friday and he said my weight, baby heart beat and everything else looked perfect !! I was so happy to hear that. I go in this coming Tuesday for an ultrasound to make sure the lil man is in down position and also to see how much he is weighing now. We can't wait to meet him.. I am nervous yet excited.

For awhile now the pool at our apartments has been closed due to maintenance. It has been open for about a week but it has been windy until today. 87 Degrees and no wind, so we decided to take Kamea swimming in the evening not to hot and no one is there really besides in the hot tubs. So we thought this would be a good time to try and teach her how to swim. We were kind of skeptical on how she would handle the water since she isn't to fond of being in water that is deep. BUT.....She LOVED IT !!!! She wanted to swim and swim and she got her face wet a few times yet all her response was, cough, laugh and go swim some more lol. She enjoyed it and she was kicking with both her legs together in Kamea's words " Look mommy I am a Mermaid ! " All me and Kuhio did was smile and say good job !! Daddy taught her tonight to float, kick and handle her balance of course she will need more practice. But I think we will be going to the pool as long as it is warm and she ENJOYS going, so we can teach her !!!!!!

YUMMY ! I have been craving sweets yet didn't know what.. so I decided to make some Butter Mochi . It is delicious and the hubby and Mea LOVES IT !!!

Butter Mochi Recipe

1 lb. box mochiko

3 c. white sugar

2 tsp. baking powder

2 c. milk

½ c. melted butter

5 beaten eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

12 oz. can coconut milk

1 c. shredded coconut (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sift mochiko, white sugar and baking powder. Add milk, butter, vanilla, eggs and coconut milk to mixture. Mix until batter is smooth. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour. Top crust should be golden brown. Remove from oven and cool.

1 Bottle of Vinegar

This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. Drink Stop !

We have been taking Mea to this park by our home about 5min away. Mea loves it and so do we. Not only is it a small little water park it also has a playground for toddlers gated and a gated big kids playground area too. It has a big field and baseball diamonds and a concession stand :) Since it has been in the upper 85 degrees the past few days we have taken Kamea to enjoy the water and the park. She has such a great time and never wants to leave :)

How Our baby's growing:

By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.

We are soo Excited to meet the little man !!! I feel huge and this baby likes to sit lower down in my stomach and KICK my ribs so hard I have to catch my breath. With the heart burn alone I feel like crying lol. He is very active and moving LOTS !! Kuhio is like WOW when he feels his big somersaults in my tummy lol . I am getting more tired then I was before and just want to lay in bed and eat lol.

Kamea loves when Maikah is over, cause she loves playing with him ! Tonight I watched him for little while and had them color together ! Mea enjoyed it chatted up a storm with him, smiled and wanted to do everything he did. Maikah tried to teach her how to draw stars and diamond kites :) She kept showing me cause she was so proud !! These are memories I hope they both don't forget, the times they are together enjoying one another and having a great time !!

We went to Circus Circus a few weekends ago for her Uncle Justin's Bday !! She had alot of fun rising on the rides like the Ferris Wheel, Merry Go Round TWICE and also we had her go on a ship ride but as we got on she didn't like it and got off :) After we went up to the arcade side and at lunch and then did some games and more kid rides :) She rode a horse, truck, Hippo and then played some basketball, Ski Ball and then a hammer game where she won a purple velvet cute monkey that she sleeps with and also she won a Pink rose flower that you can move the stem to hang on to things playing the water game where you race the horse :) It was alot of fun !!!

Before Syani and Kamahele took off to Hawaii they stopped in for a day to stay with us.We were so excited to see them and spend some time. We had so much fun at the Lied Discovery Museum. Kamea didn't know where to start there was so many activity centers and kids :) Daddy had fun playing with her in all the different stations while mommy took pictures :) She loved the store centers where had Smiths, NV Energy, Airport, etc she loved Smiths the best she walked around and picked out her items went to the check out and purchased her items. She didn't want to leave. Than the next center that she loved was the bubble center :) Daddy showed her how and she got it from there and loved blowing them in the big circles. There was two floors. The top was about nutrition and sounds mea enjoyed it , but think she liked the stores and the construction bubble center down stairs :) We will definitely go back. Mea had so much fun and it was such a good learning experience for her :)

We went to Pet Smart tonight together as a family to look at the animals :) And ended up leaving with this little Dwarf Hamster he gets only 3 inches and he is a Winter Hamster, which means he changes colors in certain seasons. He is very calm and sweet and very curious . He likes to run around and chases you in his ball weird lol. This is the start of Mea chores lol not only does she need pick up her room and help mommy make her bed, she gets to help me feed him and change his water. She was scared at first when he was running around in his mini ball but then she just got a kick out of it and followed him all around :) Our first pet here in Nevada "_

We have been going to the park these past 4 days since it has been such nice weather . Lowest about 74 and high 79 ! It has been great. This park is real nice with a BIG Field and a path that goes around the whole thing. Alot of people bring their dogs to walk and there are plenty joggers too. We have been walking around it too for exercise as well. There is also a mountain with a trail that you can walk up.. we only walked halfway up. I was scared since it was real steep that I might go into labor lololol. Mea loves it and so does Miakah, he can run and get all his energy out lol. We have brought balls as well to play catch. Hope the weather stays this perfect for awhile :)

We took Kamea to the Shark Reef today ! She loved it !! She loves looking at the fish and all the ocean creatures. She actually thinks it's the ocean !!! She was scared of the sharks though ! It was an underground ship wreck, you walk on water and are surrounded by it too !!! There was one Honu :) And of course Kamea says " Mommy Honu !! " So cute !!! My favorite is the tunnel that you can walk under and see all the fish, sharks, etc !! It was a fun family activity!!

Mea celebrated her Bday party at Worldmark in Vegas with her aunties and uncles and papa and gama and friends, cousins :) She had soo much fun as well as mom and dad did too :) We are SO GRATEFUL for all those who came and celebrated it with us !!! We love all of you and had such a WONDERFUL time !!!! We missed all those who couldn't make it but we thought of you and took plenty pictures to show you.

The Schedule went as follows :

1. Greeting talk thanking everyone for coming and Auntie Syani blessed the food.

2. We ate main course Mahi Mahi and Katsu with rice, chips and Uncle Junior onion dip, Veggies and water, orange Sunkiss drink and 7up and Diet coke.

3.After we ate it was game time we played " How well do you know Kamea ? "the questions were of our blog posts to see if everyone follows :).

4. Than it was Uncle Kalia and Auntie Kiam Slideshow that they made for her for everyone to watch. It was PERFECT and it made me cry :) The song was " Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride " from Lilo Stitch Mea kept yelling Lilo :)

5. Than it was Pixie Bingo and it was played three times and the winners got Tinkerbell pixie suckers :)

6. Was singing Happy Birthday and cake and ice cream.

7. Presents opening.

8. Thanking everyone for coming and than hanging out :)

We are so excited. Me and Mea went to the Doctors today and she was such a big girl sitting in her stroller and coloring and playing with her toys I put in her Dora back pack :) I saw the lil man, he was moving around plenty like he always does. And in one part of the ultra sound he looked as if her was laughing the doctor got a kick out of that, and the fact he was trying to suck on his toes :) The doctor said he looks perfect and big :) And everything looks great :) He is a mover and we are so excited to meet him :)

I have been trying to potty train Mea this past 2 weeks. I first started with Dora pull ups and turned out that was not working, cause Mea thought it still was a pamper :( So the next thing was real big girl panties. I got Little Mermaid and Tinkerbell and this week started using them. Since than I have been cleaning carpet and doing lots of laundry lol :) But I think today was a pay off for that. We went out to dinner tonight and decided to walk the Luxor hotel being that I never have gone in. And Mea started crying saying Doo Doo mommy so I took her in the bathroom thinking I needed to change her pamper since we were out.. nothing was in there, so we walked out. She started crying again so I took her in put her on the potty and had her hold on to me.. she did it made doo doo and shi shi. She had sore tummy I think. But she was proud of herself and smiling !! I kept telling her good job and after she was so proud she ran to daddy. We gave her big hugs and kisses and told her what a big girl she was. She had the biggest smile :) I was so proud that she did it and even out in public :) YAY MEA !!!

I had the best weekend !! My hubby took me shopping for a few new outfits at the mall this weekend !! Also it was Mea fisrt time on the Merry go round !! We spent time together just hanging out !! I LOVE my hubby so much !! He is my best friend !! We have gone through some pretty tough times , but we made it through and now we are MORE THAN HAPPY !!! We have came along way and I am soo happy where we are and what we have become !!! I love him and I love our family !!!

Laying out her books and reading them one by one !

Mea loves to read her books . I try and read to her every afternoon before her nap mostly her library ones :) Sometimes she will set her books out and read to herself occasionally calling me to come over and read with her or to her . Some of the times she just wants me to recognize that she is reading ( looking at the pictures and saying the characters name :) and using her imagination ! )

But she gets a huge smile on her face when I do !! I love my little munchkin so much !!!

We had alot of fun tonight, We wanted to take Mea to the Library since she loves books !!! We decided that at least once a week we can go to the Library and make it an activity !! Mea enjoyed looking at all the books, sitting at the table for kids with puzzles, etc. We ended up checking out three books for Mea and Kuhio and I ended up checking out some good books! After we went out and got some shakes , apple pie, fries (the fries where mostly for me cause I was craving it with my shake :) ) We had a great family time :)

My family came a few weekends ago and hung out with us !! We had a good time played Apples to Apples and watched some movies my mom them brought !! We went shopping and hung out !! It was alot of fun and Mea had a great time she even got her nails painted by her unlce Aussie :)

Mea LOVES to color so me and daddy set time aside at night to color a page or two with her .. She loves it and she loves to hear what a good job she does :) She has alot of fun when we sit down together she gets to be the character !!!

Woody Love

Mea LOVES Woody and Buzz :) Kuhio wonders why she likes boy toys, but I just think she loves Disney characters in general :) She got this doll for Christmas and she carries it all over and has to have it during every nap and bedtime and sometimes when we let her at the dinner table :) Last night she was playing mommy and put Woody in her booster chair and was feeding him and giving him kisses. I had to take pictures of her she is sooo loving and she is going to be such a great BIG SISTER !! We took pictures and she was posing with Woody she was giving him kisses and hugs !!!

Guess toys don't matter but a Huggies diaper box does :)

Out of all the toys Mea girl has and fun things to do , she loved to keep dumping her pampers out of the box and scoot around in the box :) She played with the box for almost 1 hour lol !!! She dragged her dolls in it and sat in it like it was a car !! I started taking pictures and she wanted to make funny faces for the camera :) My little comedian :) I love her she makes me smile and laugh all the time as well as her daddy !!

New Years with the Mailes, Krydynce, Marcos and Keahi-Sun !!!!

For New Years the Mailes and Kryd, Marcos and Keahi-Sun came down to be with us.. It was SO MUCH FUN !! The first night breaking in the New Year we had pupus Lomi Lomi, Hot wings, Chips and Dip, Cucumber and Vinegar and Pizza etc !! We had Tiaras for the girls and hats for the guys and Junior brought a big firework :) We watched the ball drop did Ovoo and played games it was alot of fun. We rented a movie . The next day we went out shopping at the Las Vegas Outlet mall and than came home and made dinner hung out played games. Than the last day which was sad we ate at House Of Blues sooo Yummy than walked the Strip to M&M factory watched the 3d show and than went to the MGM and saw the tigers :) Came home it was kind of late rested hung out and watched a movie and slept :) I know we had so much fun with everyone and know it would have been more fun if all the family was together :) We hope to see more of everyone since we live closer you are ALL WELCOME :) HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 !!!!
